Insights into The New Success Paradigm: “A Personal Leadership Discovery Platform”

The Wisdom of Healthy Work-Life Choices

                      Sheila’s Dilemma
                        (- a short fictional anecdote)
Sheila had been working energetically in the domain of
property sales management for many years, and she liked the
stimulation she got from interacting with her clients. She was
admired by her manager for her dedication to her clients, and
for her commitment to the company that she had now been
employed by for the past 12 years.
The nature of Sheila’s job often asked her to work long hours,
however she felt that she had found her calling in life.
Sheila had recently met Manfred, the man of her life.
This new-found relationship helped to fill a gaping hole
in her personal life that had been left by a failed romantic
relationship of some 10 years previously. She had
overcome this emotional void by focusing her energy on
her commitment to serving her property clients with an
                        unswerving high level of excellence.
Manfred was devoted to Sheila and although she was clearly
deeply in love with him, she could not easily give him all the
attention he needed and deserved, due to her commitment to
her job which very often involved working long hours.
Sheila, being a close-friend of mine, asked me the following
rhetorical question, which reflected her dilemma, clearly
without her wanting to receive an answer:
