Bradley’s Job of his Dreams
(- a short fictional anecdote)
Over the past few months, Bradley and I had been building
a friendship, while chatting about a diverse range of topics,
including what he saw as the next step in his fledgling career.
Bradley had obtained a Degree in Economics, as well as a
post graduate diploma in International Marketing.
He passionately aspired to join the Automotive Industry in
order to develop his career and professional expertise.
However, I could sense that Bradley needed some inspiration,
or encouragement, before making his next move that could
set his fledgling career in motion.
And so, I suggested to him that there might possibly be
someone in my personal network who could help him find a
suitable job in the Automotive Industry.
Bradley quickly warmed to the idea of me reaching-out to
people in my personal network to see if they could perhaps
assist him in some way.
For my part, I committed to speak to a few of my contacts, to
see if I could perhaps help to land Bradley a suitable job in the
Automotive Industry.
A few days later, I reached out to Adrian, a close friend of
mine who had been commercialising automobiles for most of
his working life. Adrian also had a large personal network of
